Kindred Hospital Arizona - Phoenix has had notable success in weaning patients from ventilators. Utilizing a proven weaning protocol, the hospital has an excellent wean rate for patients on a ventilator for longer than two weeks. Ventilator and other respiratory patients are attended by a pulmonologist. The most modern technology is utilized in delivering care to patients including evaluation of breathing parameters and metabolic studies to evaluate nutrition. Care is provided using a team approach focusing on patient-centered care.
